Lutgert's beachfront plan, sixty years on
Park Shore is Naples’ great planned neighborhood: seven hundred and sixty acres laid out by the Lutgert family in 1964, threaded between the Gulf and Venetian Bay so that beach, water and village shops all sit inside the plan.
Sixty years on, the streets are mature and the market is anything but static. Original homes are giving way to new construction, and bayfront lots with dockage behind the house and the beach across the street remain some of the most complete residential real estate in the city.
A Park Shore contemporary that saves its best light for evening.
